These puppies are big! For fist crack and offwidth aficionados, Big Bros rule. The expanding tube chock design is stable, lightweight, easy to use and strong. Because of their stable nature when they're placed correctly they're almost impossible to dislodge when you're grunting by them, and they make a nice smooth rope guide at the lip of a roof. Their expansion range is phenomenal—a #5 Big Bro has greater range than an entire set of traditional cams!
Craig Luebben, the designer of the Big Bro, died in a tragic guiding accident in August of 2009. His royalty stream will go directly into a 529 college fund for his beloved daughter Giulia. Every Big Bro you buy will contribute money into Giulia's college fund. Just for fun, we asked Jeremy Collins to draw a caricature of Giulia that we're engraving on all of the Big Bros.
Big Bro's are to be slung with 5mm tech/dyneema cord or 5.5mm spectra cord. Blue Water Titan cord comes in a nice 6m length.
