SMC TR Pulley

Looking for a strong, reliable compact and lightweight pulley that is reasonably priced and don’t want to sacrifice efficiency in a mechanical advantage system? Look no further than the new TR Pulley. Few if any other pulleys of comparable size and price range manage to deliver this level of performance and reliability. Despite its diminutive size the TR Pulley can handle full-sized work loads and is ideally suited for use with the very popular SMC Aluminum Locking D Carabiner. While most people will use the TR Pulley with lightweight aluminum carabiners the TR Pulley can be paired up with a rescue carabiners like our Large Steel Locking Carabiner. The bell-shaped top hole allows the carabiner to be rotated freely and completely. A durable aluminum sheave is paired with a true Oilite Bearing on a zinc-coated axle for reliable performance at a reasonable cost. Oilite Bearings are self-lubricating and highly wear and corrosion resistant. Hallmarks of SMC pulley design are the color contrasting aluminum side plates that rotate for easy rope insertion and removal. The MBS and lot number for each pulley is permanently laser-etched into the side plate. Easy to carry and easy to use - this is a great pulley that won’t bust your back or your bank. Intended for use with rope up to a maximum size of 1/2”. This pulley is not suitable for use in a tyrolean traverse. One sideplate is green and the other is grey.
