Our eLine is a low-stretch slackline that sets up easily with a simple closed loop system. Little or no effort it required to tension it so anyone can do it in just a few minutes. This minimizes damage to trees and reduces the risk to the anchors as well.

The eLine can be set and used just as any slackline. Walking, spins, hula-hoops, ariels and flips can be performed on the eLine. In fact, as of this writing, the only double flip (Forward then backwards. Watch) ever done was done on an eLine. We feel that the ultimate expression of slacklining, however, is slackasana, or slackline yoga.

Slackline yoga (or slackasana) has been described as "distilling the art of yogic concentration" and is achievable by almost anyone with a little bit of perseverance and patience. The practice has many layers, simultaneously developing focus, dynamic balance, power, breath, core-integration, flexibility, and confidence. Utilizing standing postures, sitting postures, arm balances, kneeling postures, inversions and unique vinyasa, a skilled slackline yogi is able to create a flowing yoga practice without ever falling from the line.

So... WHO are the YogaSlackers?

The YogaSlackers are an eclectic group of free-spirited yogis, climbers, adventurers and adventure racers. They travel the states spreading their particular blend of yoga, fitness, climbing, adventuring and psych for a pure life. Jason Magness, one of the original “’Slackers”, has spent less that 100 nights in a bed in the last 5 years. You can check them out here.

What does the "e" in eLine stand for?

  • Easy: It is easy to set up and tension an eLine. No pinched fingers in the ratchets. No hauling on the line to tension it. Easy to release and re-tension.
  • Everyone: Because of the ease of setup and tensioning anyone can rig an eLine. No special knowledge of rigging systems and forces is needed. Tensioning is non-threatening and can easily done by a single person.
  • Energy: The yin-yang trade off between line energy and yogi energy.
  • Eco: The polyester eLine and the eLine Anchor strap are totally recyclable.

Yin Yang? WTF? I just want to go slacklining!

The low stretch nature of a polyester line requires a shift in energy as compared to tightlining on a nylon line. A highly tensioned nylon line stores energy, always wanting to return to the center point, thus requiring less input and focus from the user. On a low tension line all of the energy and focus must come from the user. The less energy the line has the more the user must have. This trade-off is shown clearly in the following chart:

Includes:

  • 2-Yogaslacker Carabiners
  • 1-Line Lock
  • 1 - 2 meter Anchor Strap
  • 1 - 1" x 15 meter low-stretch eLine
  • Carrying Bag
